Mitsubishi Pencil’s uni Jetstream series of pens is adored worldwide. The purported “answer to every negative stereotype you ever had about ballpoint pens,” the uni Jetstream is also wirecutter.com’s Best Pen for 2018.
Now the worlds of wonderful penning and whisky are colliding, as uni has announced a limited edition range of “Pure Malt Jetstream Inside” pens due on December 19. Two versions will be released: the Single which is a simple 0.5mm ball with black ink (700 yen + tax), and the 4&1 which 0.5mm black, red, blue, and green ink plus a 0.5mm pencil (2000 yen + tax).
Personally I’ll probably stick to my Pilot Frixion, but think about these the next time you write your tasting notes!
